Ground drills

Ground drills and post drills come in many different shapes and sizes. The materials used are unique to every DeWit® drill. DeWit® makes forged augers. We only use forged steel that we heat to 1200 degrees at the start of the production process. We do this heating using induction ovens that run entirely on electricity. After heating, we forge the drills to size and shape. This forging ensures the quality of the steel and ultimately the quality of the drill.
